Description

Wall waterstop with holes

To seal joints exposed to expansion and contraction pressures, perforated Wall waterstop with holes are used. The unique design of this type of waterstop, especially its central cavity, allows for significant flexibility, effectively preventing water passage due to joint displacement. Additionally, it offers high resistance to hydraulic pressures, longitudinal changes, tensile forces, and shrinkage.

Perforated PVC waterstops can be utilized for waterproofing structures such as swimming pools, tunnels, pipes, foundations, and similar applications. Moreover, this type of waterstop demonstrates excellent resistance to acidic and alkaline substances.

properties and effects Wall waterstop with holes

  • Exhibits tensile strength exceeding standard requirements.

Application Wall waterstop with holes

  • Ideal for preventing water infiltration in construction and expansion joints of various structures.
  • Suitable for sealing joints in concrete structures exposed to water or liquids.
  • Applicable in water-sealing projects for dams, channels, and concrete pipes.
  • Reliable for waterproofing hydraulic structures with high efficiency.
  • An excellent choice for sealing swimming pools and artificial lakes.

Installation Method

The Wall waterstop with holes must be placed in the designated area where the concrete pour interruption is planned. Half of the waterstop’s width should be embedded in the first concrete pour, and the other half in the second pour. Concrete pouring should be done carefully and slowly to ensure the waterstop remains in place. The installation of the hollow waterstop follows the same procedure, with the difference that its central hollow section is precisely positioned in the expansion joint. Specially designed clamps should be used to secure the waterstop in place.

How to Connect Two Ends of the Hollow Wall-Type Waterstop:

Connection Using a Hot Welding Iron:

Heat the two ends of the waterstop with a hot welding iron until they become soft and molten. Press the ends together until they bond. Once cooled, a seamless and durable connection will form.

Connection Using Industrial Adhesive:

To join two ends of the waterstop, use industrial adhesives designed for soft PVC. Overlap the two ends of the waterstop by approximately 30 cm. Apply adhesive to the overlapping section and press the ends together firmly until they are fully bonded.
