Description

Cement grout-special

To solve this issue, non-shrinking and resistant grout products have been developed. Cement grout-special are much stronger and more resistant than ordinary mortars, and due to their special formulation, they offer unique properties for installing column plates. These grouts not only have high resistance but also possess optimal workability, which facilitates the flow of grout beneath the bearing plates.

The installation and stabilization of foundation base plates are among the most crucial and sensitive stages in steel structures. This process must be carried out with precision, following all technical details. After the base plates are installed using anchor bolts, tightening the nuts, leveling the surface of the base plates, and ensuring their proper fixation in accordance with the execution plan, the final step is grouting underneath the base plates. Using ordinary mortars or concrete is not suitable due to their insufficient strength and shrinkage as they lose mixing water, which may cause the structure to settle.

The formulation of these grouts includes materials that increase the volume of the mixture to compensate for the shrinkage caused by cement hydration. This property prevents shrinkage and ensures the grout does not shrink once it has dried. The use of powder-based plasticizers in cement grouts improves the workability and, by reducing the water content, helps achieve higher strength. Additionally, the grout’s fluidity allows it to easily flow into remote areas and fill sections with high reinforcement density without the need for vibration.
