Description
Concrete Fast Harden Mortar
Concrete Fast Harden Mortar is a type of ready-to-use cement-based mortar designed for situations involving severe leakage. This material accelerates the hydration process, hardening in less than 10 seconds and immediately preventing water passage. As a rapid water-blocking product, it forms a strong paste when mixed with water, effectively sealing high-pressure leaks. It can be applied to various concrete and stone surfaces, and its expansion coefficient matches that of concrete, ensuring durability and a lifespan equal to that of the structure.
Low-quality production of durable and resilient concrete often leads to cracks or joints that can cause serious issues. In water structures or liquid storage tanks, these cracks may result in the leakage of liquids or pressurized water. Since draining liquids from such structures is usually challenging or costly, the best solution is to quickly and effectively seal the cracks. Therefore, using Concrete Fast Harden Mortarย is recommended as an efficient approach.
Quick-setting concrete powder is specifically formulated for scenarios requiring the immediate cessation of water flow in high-pressure cracks and gaps. Supplied in powder form, it is easily mixed with water and applied directly to the leakage points on concrete, cement, and block surfaces. Its primary feature is instant waterproofing, making it an ideal choice for stopping water leaks efficiently.

How to use Concrete Fast Harden Mortar
Preparation:
- Clean the target surface from any contamination, grease, or debris.
- Create a V-shaped groove on the surface to provide a proper base for the product application.
- For preparing the waterproofing mortar, mix 250 to 300 grams of water for every kilogram of powder.
- Hold the prepared mortar on the groove for 15 seconds. It is recommended to fill the V-shaped groove starting from the edges towards the center.
- After the product has hardened and the leakage is stopped, scrape any uneven areas to achieve a smooth and uniform surface.
- Ensure the amount of product mixed with water is sufficient to be used within 25 seconds.
- Always add the powder to water; reverse mixing will cause the mortar to harden quickly and become unusable.
- The product is best applied manually (using gloves).
Additional Notes:
- The speed and setting time of the product are influenced by the temperature of the environment, water, and powder.
- Low temperatures slow down the setting process, while high temperatures accelerate it.
- In cases of high water pressure, use a narrow pipe for drainage and seal around it with quick-setting mortar.
- For larger grooves, the sealing process should be done from the top to the bottom.
- If there is no water leakage during application, pre-wet the surface before applying the mortar and keep the applied mortar moist for 15 minutes.
Setting Time:
- The initial setting begins within 15 seconds, and the mortar fully hardens within 3 minutes.
