Concrete Penetrator

Concrete penetrant (crystallizing), with very high penetrating power into concrete, which is used to seal and protect concrete against the penetration of water and destructive chemicals.

A type of crystalline waterproofing material, with a very high penetration capability into concrete, is used for waterproofing and protecting concrete against the infiltration of water and destructive chemicals. After application on the concrete surface, it penetrates into the mortar based on the law of capillary action and through osmotic mechanisms, reacting with free lime and the moisture present in the concrete. This reaction leads to the formation of needle-like crystals that fill all cracks and capillary tubes, making the concrete resistant to water intrusion, ions, and harmful chemicals present in wastewater and seawater.

The crystalline penetrating powder belongs to the category of water-repellent materials and can be applied using various methods, including slurry, spray, and dry application. This method ensures permanent waterproofing for the structure. The crystallization process initiated by the penetrating agent is permanent and continues in the presence of water due to its hydrophilic properties. Waterproofing with this type of penetrant is permanent and poses no risk or adverse effects for drinking water. One of the special applications of crystalline penetrating agents is in waterproofing structures that are at risk of water infiltration under negative pressure.
