Description
Concrete Plasticizer retarder
Concrete Plasticizer retarder is a liquid additive formulated based on lignosulfonate and set-retarding agents. This product is highly effective for enhancing the workability and fluidity of concrete, as well as reducing the water-to-cement ratio in concrete mixtures.
Moreover, Concrete Plasticizer retarder application allows for controlling the setting time of concrete in the early stages. Retarding plasticizers are particularly recommended for mass concrete placements and concreting in hot weather conditions. Additionally, when there is a significant distance between the concrete production site and the placement location, adding this admixture at the source can help manage the setting time and slump of the concrete. It is important to note that using lignosulfonate-based retarding plasticizers may result in lower early-age strength but leads to optimal strength development at 90 days. Furthermore, this additive helps prevent surface cracks in the concrete.

- Enables concreting in areas with high reinforcement density
Instructions for Use
To use the Concrete Plasticizer retarder, calculate the required amount based on the concrete mix design, then dilute it with twice its volume of mixing water. Gradually add the diluted solution to the concrete during mixing. This additive can also be added to ready-mixed concrete in a transit mixer, ensuring thorough mixing before placement.
It is recommended to mix for at least one minute per cubic meter of concrete. This material can be added at the batching plant or into the transit mixer during production, but it should never be poured directly onto dry cement.
