Description
concrete plasticizer-retarder
concrete plasticizer-retarder is a liquid additive based on polycarboxylate ether. This concrete superplasticizer reduces the concrete mixing water very strongly, which makes it very strong and high performance concrete efficiency and can also cause the expansion of cement particles.
The use of superplasticizers in concrete is primarily for the production of special concretes, such as self-leveling and self-compacting concretes, or when regulations require a reduction in the water-to-cement ratio. It is also used in situations where slump loss cannot be compensated by other superplasticizers. The carboxylate superplasticizer significantly reduces the water-to-cement ratio, which helps reduce permeability and improves the concrete’s resistance to harmful chemicals, ultimately enhancing its durability and stability.
Features
- Increased slump of the concrete
- Improved workability and efficiency of the concrete
- Enhanced durability and longevity of the concrete
