Description
Concrete Powder Retarder
Concrete Powder Retarder is an efficient crystalline product that, after being added to the concrete, reduces the speed of concrete hydration, causes delays in the time of concrete settling.
Concrete retarder powder slows down the water-cement reaction and effectively slows down the hydration rate of cement. This product also decreases water penetration into cement particles. It’s important to note that using this powdered retarder is only one factor affecting the setting time of concrete; other variables such as cement type, water-to-cement ratio, and ambient temperature significantly influence the setting duration as well.

How to Use
The required amount of powdered retarder is calculated based on the concrete mix ratio, then diluted with twice the volume of mixing water. After dilution, the retarder is gradually added to the concrete mix.
The powdered retarder can also be added to the prepared concrete mix, and after thorough mixing, the concrete pouring can be carried out.
Note: It is recommended to mix for at least one minute for every cubic meter of concrete.
Additionally, this product can be added to the dry ingredients before adding water to the mix.
