Concrete Powder Waterproof is a material based on fatty acids that contains pore fillers and water repellants which, during the reaction with the compounds obtained from cement hydration, flows inside the pores and cavities and assumes the role of water and moisture repellency.

The inefficiency of concrete due to voids and the lack of fillers and fine aggregates leads to the formation of empty spaces between the aggregates, which reduces the quality of the concrete and weakens its permeability. Permeable concrete is easily affected by water and harmful ions, resulting in lower strength and increased vulnerability. To fill these voids between the aggregates, the use of powdered waterproofing is an appropriate solution to improve the concrete’s properties.

The impermeability of concrete is a key factor in predicting and evaluating its durability and strength. If concrete is produced with the correct mix design and the proper water-to-cement ratio, using high-quality aggregates, its permeability is reduced. Adding a controlled amount of this product to the mix makes the concrete denser and of higher quality, significantly reducing its permeability. Additionally, to accelerate the curing process, concrete hardener can be used.

How to use

1. This product can be added to the batching plant or truck mixer during concrete production.
2. It can also be added to the prepared concrete mix; after thorough mixing, the pouring process should take place.

Note: It is recommended to mix for at least one minute per cubic meter of concrete.

1. The specified amount of the additive should be diluted with twice the volume of the mixing water, according to the concrete grade, and then gradually added to the concrete while mixing.
