Concrete Sealant Adhesive is a thick polymeric liquid with emulsifying properties, formulated based on acrylic resins, specifically designed to address water penetration issues and improve the durability of concrete. These adhesives are colloidal solutions of various polymers in water, significantly enhancing the tensile and flexural strength of concrete. Additionally, this adhesive can be used to bond new concrete to old concrete and improve the adhesion of repair mortars to various surfaces. Nano resin adhesive can effectively resolve issues such as cold joints due to concrete discontinuity, delays in concrete production and transport, and increased temperatures.

One of the major challenges in concrete production is the permeability of the concrete mix components. To address this, the use of acrylic resins has become widespread in developed countries to enhance the bonding of concrete particles and fill the gaps between aggregates. This process helps increase the density of concrete and reduce its permeability. Waterproof concrete adhesive, also known as water-resistant concrete adhesive, is an effective solution in this regard.

Application Method of Concrete Sealant Adhesive

For improving surface impermeability:

1. The surface must be completely clean and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants.
2. Mix and combine the nano concrete adhesive with water in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio.
3. Use a brush, roller, or sprayer to apply the adhesive in two stages, with a 1 to 3-hour interval between applications.

For reducing internal permeability:

1. Mix the nano waterproof adhesive with water in a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5.
2. Add dry ingredients of the mortar to the mixture.
3. After completing the application, protect the concrete for 5 days using curing compounds.

For bonding new mortar to old mortar:

1. Clean the surface from any contaminants, grease, oil, and remove any loose parts.
2. Apply a thick layer of the concrete adhesive onto the old concrete surface.
3. Add 4 to 6 percent of the waterproof adhesive to the fresh concrete mix and then proceed with the application.

For use in repair projects:

1. Clean the substrate surface from any contaminants, grease, or loose particles.
2. Apply a layer of the adhesive diluted with water as a primer to the repair surface.
3. Add the specified amount of adhesive to the repair mortar to significantly enhance the bonding properties of the mortar.
