The combination of this Concrete Strength Adhesive with fresh concrete increases the adhesion of the particles and enhances the concrete’s properties. This bonding agent is a polymer-based compound formulated by Beton Plast Chemical Company, made from synthetic homopolymer resins. It reacts easily with water and cement, improving tensile, flexural strength, and durability of the concrete. One of the key properties of this liquid bonding agent is its ability to increase adhesion, which, by improving particle bonding and increasing density, reduces the permeability of the concrete.

Sometimes, the construction of a concrete section may be left incomplete, and the continuation of concrete pouring to finish the structure takes place after the final setting of the concrete. In such cases, the concrete at the point of interruption may become weaker in terms of strength and permeability, as there is no proper bond between the old and new concrete. In these situations, using Concrete Strength Adhesive is a suitable option, as it not only provides a strong bond between the old and new concrete but is also highly effective in repair works to improve the adhesion of the repair mortar to the old surface.

How to use

For Bonding New Concrete to Old Concrete:

• The surface of the old concrete must be free of all contaminants, paint, oil, grease, and loose particles.
• Apply a thick and even layer of nano concrete adhesive to the surface of the old concrete.
• Add 4 to 6 percent of the weight of the cement used to the new concrete.

For Internal Waterproofing of Concrete:

• The adhesive can be mixed with part of the mixing water or added directly to the ready-mixed concrete.
• For each cubic meter of concrete, ensure at least one minute of mixing.
• It is recommended to mix the concrete adhesive with water in a 3:1 ratio before adding it to the mix.

For Use in Repair Works:

• Apply a layer of concrete adhesive on the surface to be repaired.
• Add 3 to 5 percent by weight of the concrete adhesive to the repair mortar and then proceed with the application.
