Water based Emulsion primer – solvent base is a single-component product based on bitumen and special mineral powders that can be diluted with hydrocarbon solvents and has good adhesion to steel, concrete, brick, asphalt and other building materials when implemented.

The best time to protect concrete from chemical damaging agents is during the initial hours after placement. At this stage, the concrete, in its plastic state, quickly loses water and may come into contact with surfaces that absorb water. This results in a reduction in the mixing water before the hydration process begins, potentially causing cracks on the surface or even deeper fissures. These cracks form due to shrinkage and volume reduction of the mortar and provide an ideal path for the infiltration of ions and harmful chemicals into the concrete. This can lead to the corrosion of reinforcement bars and severe structural damage over time.

To prevent these issues and protect fresh concrete from environmental factors and water evaporation, an emulsified primer based on modified bitumen and resins is used. This waterproofing solution, once dried, is resistant to moisture and water vapor penetration, significantly waterproofing the concrete surface. When applied in two layers, this primer makes the surface fully waterproof and sealed. It is commonly used as a base layer for the application of emulsified waterproof coatings. Additionally, this primer has excellent adhesion to metal and concrete, offering high durability against corrosive agents affecting both metal and concrete.
