Description

Fiberglass Mesh

Fiberglass mesh is a powerful composite mesh made of glass fibers and polymer-based materials, with glass fibers acting as the polymer’s reinforcement. This product is used for reinforcing various waterproofing materials and surface coatings on areas such as pools, reservoirs, concrete surfaces, and roofs. Its special design allows it to withstand high hydraulic pressures, making it an effective solution for strengthening and reinforcing structures.

The use of surface coatings for insulation, waterproofing, and structural repairs in various sectors is quite common. These materials are typically applied in multiple layers on surfaces and have a specific service life. Environmental factors may gradually degrade the quality and effectiveness of these coatings. By utilizing modern technologies, surface insulations can be reinforced similarly to concrete, enhancing their durability and quality. One of the advanced products for reinforcing these insulations is fiberglass mesh.

The lifespan of fiberglass mesh is equivalent to that of the materials it is used with, and it can be employed at all stages of construction. This product significantly enhances durability, tensile strength, compressive strength, and flexural strength. It easily covers corners and hard-to-reach areas, such as the intersection of pool walls and floors. This characteristic makes it an ideal choice for use in pool waterproofing applications and sensitive areas. Additionally, fiberglass mesh exhibits excellent resistance to heat and performs reliably across various temperature ranges, ensuring outstanding performance in diverse environmental conditions.

Applications Fiberglass Mesh

  • Repairing various concrete surfaces, cracks, and fissures.
  • Strengthening and reinforcing construction materials.
  • Suitable for stabilizing and reinforcing insulation materials and bitumen.
  • Enhancing the natural structure of stone in stone-cutting processes.
  • Can be used to make structures earthquake-resistant using integrated bitumen materials.
  • Ideal for reinforcing stone facades, especially marble surfaces.
  • Effective for sub-layer preparation before installing stone, tiles, and ceramics.
  • Increasing tensile strength and durability of building materials.
  • Specially designed for reinforcing connections and wall intersections.
  • A suitable alternative to metal mesh under warehouse roofs.
  • Strengthening ceilings, gypsum, concrete, cement, and prefabricated walls.
  • Creating a unified structure in walls and floors to prevent cracking.
  • Enabling the use of thinner plaster and mortar layers on walls and floors while improving cohesion.
  • Highly compatible with various resins for reinforcing floors and building surfaces.
  • Applicable on all surfaces before concrete pouring or plastering.
  • Ideal for repairing cracks in different surfaces and preventing their recurrence.

How to Use

  • As a Base Layer: Spread the fiberglass mesh over the desired surface, then apply the chosen insulation material on top of it.
  • As a Middle Layer: First, apply a layer of insulation. Once the initial set occurs but before it fully dries (when the surface is still tacky), place the fiberglass mesh on it and apply the second layer of insulation.
