Flat Bar Spacer is a suitable piece for creating concrete coating and is suitable for placing on soft and sinking floors such as foam covered with polystyrene foam.

Creating concrete cover for rebar on soft and compressible surfaces is of special importance, as this issue may lead to damage to the spacing between the reinforcement bars and the floor. For this reason, this spacer is designed as a unique piece with a larger cross-section compared to similar models (such as the flat fixed spacer). This product is particularly suitable for use on soft and sinking floors, such as those covered with polystyrene foam.

Specific applications of this spacer include its use as a plastic rebar spacer and the ability to place two rows of rebars perpendicular to each other. Therefore, the flat bar spacer is an excellent option for rebar intersections, thanks to the height difference between its two intersecting seating areas.

The flat bar plastic cover can withstand a point load of between 120 to 150 kg and can accommodate rebars with diameters ranging from 8 to 16 mm within its jaws.

This spacer is designed to provide optimal performance on surfaces with light rebar networks, such as soft and compressible ceilings, and its use on other surfaces would not be logical, as its flat bottom may cause localized weakness in the structure.
