Description
Flat floor waterstop
Flat floor waterstop is special for use in executive seams of concrete structures. For execution of concrete floors with executive seams, bed-floor waterstop is used.
Flat bottom waterstop, also known as floor waterstop, is used for concrete slabs with construction joints. This type of waterstop is produced as a strip with one side textured and the other side smooth. Its specific design allows for easy placement at construction joints, effectively preventing water infiltration.
Flat bottom waterstops feature high-profile ribs that vary in number depending on the width of the waterstop. Additionally, grooves are incorporated between the ribs to prevent water infiltration and spreading from the joint space between the waterstop and the concrete. Overall, flat bottom waterstops are utilized for sealing construction joints in slabs. The flat edge of the waterstop rests on the floor of the structure, while the ribs are positioned upward.
Features Flat floor waterstop

- Structure life time
- Tensile strength higher than standard
- Higher tensile strength than standard levels
- Resistance to acids and alkalis
- Performance lifespan equal to that of the structure
- High resistance to moisture, preventing water infiltration into the structure

Applications Flat floor waterstop
- Sealing of concrete structures in the vicinity of water and liquids
- Sealing of hydraulic structures
- Preventing water passage in executive and expansion seams of structures
Installation
The waterstop should be placed at the location designated for the concrete cut, ensuring that half of its width is embedded in the first concrete pour and the other half in the second pour. Pour the concrete carefully and gently to avoid displacing the waterstop from its position. The installation and securing method for the perforated waterstop is similar, but in this case, the hole in the waterstop must be precisely aligned with the designated location for the expansion joint. To secure and anchor the waterstop in the structure, use the specialized clips designed for this type of waterstop.
