Description
Floor Self Leveling
Floor Self Leveling mortar is a ready-to-use, single-component mixture that is applied in thin layers. Thanks to its self-leveling properties, it spreads evenly across the surface, creating a smooth and flat finish. With its special formulation and excellent fluidity, this product is an ideal solution for leveling various types of surfaces. Additionally, the mortar offers good flexibility, enabling easy and efficient application.
One of the main challenges in installing tiles, ceramics, or different types of flooring is uneven subfloors. Ignoring this issue can result in uneven and unlevel surfaces, which are costly to fix. Manual mortars used for surface leveling not only require significant effort and time but also often fail to deliver satisfactory results. For this reason, Chemical Beton Plast has developed this self-leveling mortar to provide an efficient and quick solution.
This self-leveling cementitious mortar serves two primary purposes:
- Preparing a suitable surface for tile installation and flooring in thin layers.
- Serving as a final layer for floors in halls, warehouses, rooms, and other spaces.
Overall, self-leveling mortar is commonly used in construction and renovation projects to create a smooth and uniform base for various types of flooring. It is also an effective solution for addressing minor irregularities or depressions in the subfloor, ensuring a flat surface for subsequent installations.

Instructions for Using
- Before applying the self-leveling mortar, the substrate must be thoroughly cleaned of any contaminants, weak spots, grease, or similar impurities.
- If there is dust or debris on the surface, clean it first using an industrial vacuum cleaner. Then, remove any remaining contaminants with a water jet (pressure washer) or sandblasting.
- The substrate should be saturated with water beforehand so that the mortar does not absorb moisture from the surface. However, ensure that no free-standing water remains on the surface during application.
- Select a suitable container with enough capacity to mix the leveling powder and water.
- For every 25 kg bag of leveling powder, 6 to 7 liters of water are required.
- Pour the water into the container first. While the electric mixer (drill and paddle) is running, gradually add the powder. Continue mixing until a uniform and homogenous slurry is achieved.
- After complete mixing, let the mortar rest for one minute to allow any trapped air to escape.
- Pour the self-leveling slurry onto the surface and spread it evenly using a trowel or notched spatula. Finally, use a spike roller to smooth the surface and release any remaining air bubbles.
- After the mortar reaches its initial set, keep the leveled surface moist for 24 to 48 hours and perform the curing process.
