Description
Microsilica Supplement
Microsilica Supplement Powdered concrete additive is an advanced product made from a combination of poly-naphthalene-based concrete plasticizers, microsilica powder, water-resistant materials, catalysts, fillers, and polypropylene fibers, all in powder form. This additive is added to dry materials during the concrete mix, followed by the addition of water. By increasing the slump during the mixing process and improving workability and efficiency through the presence of plasticizers, this powder helps reduce water absorption and ultimately decreases the permeability of the hardened concrete. This characteristic is due to the inclusion of nanosilica particles and water-resistant materials in the formulation. Additionally, the polypropylene fibers in this product enhance the mechanical properties and wear resistance of the concrete.

Application
- Production of reinforced concrete without the need for thermal reinforcement bars
- Creation of durable and long-lasting concrete
- Production of impermeable and water-resistant concrete
- Used in the construction of concrete for bridges, docks, reservoirs, tanks, and other structures
- Applicable in the construction of concrete for swimming pools, treatment plants, canals, and similar systems
- Creation of concrete for all elements of concrete structures
- Concrete pouring in projects such as docks, swimming pools, bridges, tanks, and treatment plants
- Suitable for concrete pouring in areas exposed to harmful chemical ion infiltration
Method of using
This powder can be added to the concrete mix in two ways:
1 – The most common method is to add the powder to the dry materials first. After combining with the dry materials, mixing water is added to the mixture and mixed thoroughly.
2 – Alternatively, this additive can be added directly to the prepared concrete.
Note: To achieve a homogeneous and uniform mix, it is recommended to mix for at least one minute per cubic meter of concrete.
