Microsilica Supplement Fast Harden

The Microsilica Supplement Fast Harden is an advanced product composed of plasticizers, micro-silica powder, water-repellent materials, catalysts, filler materials, polypropylene fibers, and setting accelerators. This product is offered in powdered form and is added to dry materials during the mixing of concrete, followed by the addition of water. This concrete additive enhances the slump and workability during the mixing process, and due to the presence of plasticizers in its formulation, it prevents water absorption and reduces the permeability of the hardened concrete. These properties are attributed to the nano-silica particles and water-repellent materials in the formulation. Additionally, the polypropylene fibers in this additive improve the mechanical properties and abrasion resistance of the concrete. The fast-setting powdered concrete additive is particularly suitable for use in cold weather conditions and accelerates the initial setting of the concrete.

Usage method

This additive can be added to the concrete mix in two ways:

1. The best method is to first add the powdered concrete additive to the dry materials. After that, the dry materials should be thoroughly mixed, and then the mixing water is added, followed by the mixing process.
2. Alternatively, the fast-setting powder can be directly added to the prepared concrete.

Note: To achieve a homogeneous and uniform mix, at least 1 minute of mixing is required for every cubic meter of concrete.
