Plaster Water Guard Sealer

The Plaster Water Guard Sealer, based on nanotechnology and made from silane siloxanes, offers an effective solution to this issue. This product can easily make gypsum surfaces resistant to water and moisture penetration. By using this water repellent, without changing the color of the surface, the nanoparticles penetrate the gypsum and block its capillaries, making the surface water-repellent.

One of the biggest drawbacks of gypsum is its extreme sensitivity to water and moisture. The gypsum finishing layer, when exposed to water and moisture, begins to peel and separate, which makes it unsuitable for use in areas that are in contact with water and humidity.

This nano water repellent, similar to surface protectors used for balconies and terraces, prevents the penetration of surface moisture, but it cannot serve as a complete waterproofing solution in areas with constant contact with water. When applied to gypsum statues, this product not only protects them from water but also increases their durability and resistance. One of the special benefits of this water repellent is that dust and dirt settle less on treated surfaces, and they are much easier to clean compared to untreated gypsum surfaces.

How to use

Application on Fresh Gypsum Surfaces:

If the gypsum surface has been recently applied and you intend to use a water repellent for sealing, the gypsum must be completely dry first. Then, using a sprayer or brush, apply one or two coats of the product to the surface.

Application on Old Gypsum Surfaces:

For application on old gypsum surfaces, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned, free of dust, dirt, and completely dry. After cleaning the surface, apply the water repellent with a brush or sprayer in two coats.
