Description
Powder tile adhesive
One of the most common types of construction adhesives is cement-based powder tile adhesive, which is made from a combination of cement, mineral fillers, and polymer resins. Tile Adhesive Powder is designed to enhance bonding strength and improve performance. Cement-based powder tile adhesive, reinforced with polymers, becomes highly resistant to moisture after drying, thanks to the durable polymers used in its formulation.
With advancements in technology and the introduction of innovative products and methods in the construction industry, new tools and materials have been developed to facilitate and accelerate the installation of tiles and ceramics. Among these practical products are specialized adhesives designed for tile and ceramic installation and stabilization. These adhesives are formulated and produced in various compositions to meet different needs.
This type of adhesive allows for easy installation of various types of tiles and ceramics on floors, concrete and cement walls, and even tile-on-tile applications, while creating a waterproof and durable surface. Due to its cement and polymer resin composition, powdered ceramic adhesive offers higher bonding strength compared to paste adhesives, making it the ideal choice for vertical surfaces such as walls.

Instructions for Using
To apply Powder tile adhesive, the surface must first be completely clean and free of any contaminants, grease, or loose materials. If dust or dirt is present on the surface, it should be removed using water jet pressure or sandblasting.
Additionally, at least 7 days should have passed since the surface was cemented to ensure proper curing.
For preparing the mortar, each 20 kg bag of powdered adhesive requires 5 to 6 liters of water. The powder and water should be mixed using a mechanical mixer (drill with a paddle) until a smooth, uniform mixture is achieved.
Always add the powder to the water. Reversing this order (adding water to the powder) will result in an uneven mixture.
Once the mortar is prepared, spread it evenly on the surface using a notched trowel. Then, place the tile or ceramic on the mortar and press it firmly into place. It is also recommended to apply a small amount of adhesive to the back of the tile.
The mixed Tile Adhesive Powder should be used within 35 minutes, and the tiles must be installed on the surface within 20 minutes after application to ensure proper bonding.
