- Reduce water to cement ratio by 25%
- Ease of pumping concrete and reduce the depreciation of concrete equipment
- Reduce damage caused by lack of curing concrete in the early hours
Description
Power microsilica gel
Power Gel Microsilica is considered one of the most advanced and powerful products among super-pozzolanic microsilica additives. This paste-like product is formulated with polycarboxylate ether and silica fume as its primary components, along with additional elements such as fillers, polypropylene fibers, and waterproofing agents. Compared to other microsilica-based products, Power Gel Microsilica requires less usage and provides significantly higher water reduction.
Adding this gel to concrete not only ensures proper fluidity and increased slump but also enhances the rheological properties of concrete in its fresh state. Furthermore, once the concrete sets and hardens, it exhibits improved mechanical and electrical properties. The high plasticizing power of this product enables better distribution of silica fume, catalysts, and water-repellent agents within the concrete mix, creating a homogeneous and uniform paste. The resulting hardened concrete boasts high density, superior cohesion, and remarkable impermeability.
Features
- Reduces the water-to-cement ratio by up to 25%.
- Compatible with all types of Portland cement.
- Extends workability and durability of concrete in its plastic state.
- Prevents bleeding and segregation of aggregates in concrete.
- Enhances compressive, flexural, and tensile strength of concrete.
- Facilitates concrete pumping and reduces wear on placement equipment.
- Minimizes the likelihood of cracking in concrete.
- Cost-effective due to low dosage requirements and high efficiency.
- Compensates for the lack of fillers and fine aggregates to create a homogeneous plastic mix.
- Reduces cement consumption by approximately 20–25%.
- Mitigates early-stage damage caused by insufficient curing.
- Improves concrete durability in freeze-thaw cycles.
- Decreases permeability against chloride ions, water, and sulfate attacks.
- Produces fully plastic concrete with a smooth, exposed surface finish.
- Enhances concrete flowability without requiring additional superplasticizer.
- Improves mechanical strength, including compressive, flexural, and tensile properties.
- Reduces permeability and boosts resistance to environmental damage.

- Usable for constructing high-strength industrial floors
- Suitable for watertight concrete in projects such as treatment plants, canals, tunnels, and reservoirs
- Ideal for concrete exposed to explosive environments
- Concrete casting in regions exposed to corrosive and chemical substances
- Suitable for structures subjected to repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
How to Use
This product can be added to concrete in two ways:
- Mixing with the mixing water: Combine the Power Gel Microsilica with all or part of the mixing water, then add it to the dry materials and mix thoroughly.
- Direct addition to the mix: After all the concrete components have been added to the mix, introduce the gel during the mixing process.
Important Notes:
- For every cubic meter of concrete, a minimum of one minute of mixing is required.
- If there is a significant time gap between batching and pouring the concrete, it is recommended to add the Power Gel Microsilica in two stages: one portion at the batching plant and the other portion about five minutes before pouring, directly into the truck mixer.
- After adding the Microsilica Gel, mix the concrete for 2 to 4 minutes to ensure complete uniformity.
