Description
PROOFAB Thread locker (High Strength)
The PROOFAB Thread locker 15 ml (High Strength) by Beton Plast Chemical Company is a powerful product designed as a thread locker and penetrant blocker, utilizing high-strength anaerobic thixotropic technology. This sealant is specifically used as a replacement for PTFE tape in high-pressure connections. It is especially designed for environments that require withstanding high pressure, such as gas pipes, high-pressure water pipes, and pump connections.
This PTFE liquid is considered an industrial adhesive that hardens only when there is no air or oxygen in the connection. If excess liquid PTFE is squeezed out during application, it does not harden due to exposure to air, allowing for easy cleanup. This product belongs to the family of anaerobic adhesives and provides excellent water leak resistance.
This sealant serves as an excellent alternative to high-pressure PTFE tape, offering a strong locking mechanism for high-pressure threaded connections. It also provides significant resistance to vibrations and shocks. The PTFE sealant by Proofab is designed to permanently lock connections that need to be tightly secured and is compatible with various metals, including iron, aluminum, stainless steel, steel, brass, and copper. Connections sealed with this adhesive cannot be opened with hand tools and can only be loosened at temperatures above 250°C. This sealant is especially ideal for heavy industrial applications requiring extremely strong thread connections.

How to Use
Before assembly, clean the male and female threads with an absorbent cloth to remove any oil or contaminants.
Apply PROOFAB Thread locker 15 ml (High Strength) by rotating 360 degrees over the first three threads of the male and female connections.
Use hand tools to separate the paired parts.
If excess liquid Teflon material comes out, wipe it off vertically in the direction of the threads using an absorbent cloth.
Join the parts together and leave them for 24 hours at a temperature of 22-24°C to ensure the connection has fully bonded.
If the parts are difficult to separate, apply local heat up to 150°C, then separate them while warm. After separation, remove any dried adhesive residue mechanically and clean the parts with an appropriate solvent (such as acetone).
If separation remains difficult, pour some boiling water onto the connection area to soften the bond by approximately 30%, then use hand tools to open the parts. Note that this method is temporary; if separation is not done immediately, the bond will re-harden, strengthening the connection.
