The PROOFAB Thread locker 50 ml (High Strength), produced by Beton Plast Chemical Company, is an advanced and powerful product designed as a thread sealant and locking agent with anaerobic thixotropic technology and high strength. It is specifically designed to replace Teflon tapes. This type of liquid Teflon is engineered to withstand very high pressures and is ideal for use in systems with high pressure, such as gas pipes, high-pressure water pipes, pump connections, and other similar applications.

High-pressure liquid Teflon is a type of industrial adhesive that reacts and hardens when placed between threads and locks, cutting off access to oxygen. This feature makes it easy to clean off the surface with a cloth if the adhesive spills out, as it does not dry when exposed to air. These adhesives belong to the family of anaerobic (oxygen-free) adhesives and are water leak-resistant.

Application PROOFAB Thread locker 50 ml (High Strength)

How to Use

1. First, clean the male and female threads with an absorbent cloth to remove any grease or contamination from their surface.
2. Apply the PROOFAB Thread locker 50 ml (High Strength) in a 360-degree rotational motion on the first three threads of the male and female fittings.
3. Use manual tools to separate the joined parts.
4. Wipe off any excess mixture from the threads with an absorbent cloth, following the direction of the threads.
5. Assemble the parts together and leave them for 24 hours at a temperature of 22-24°C to ensure a complete bond.
6. If the parts are difficult to separate, apply localized heat up to 150+°C, and once heated, separate the parts. Then, mechanically remove any dried adhesive and clean the parts with a suitable solvent (such as acetone).
7. If separating the parts is still challenging, pour hot water on the joint area, and immediately separate the parts using manual tools. This will temporarily soften the joint (by about 30%) for easier separation. After a while, the joint will harden again, and the bond will strengthen.
