PROOFAB Siliconized Silicone Sealant 888 features excellent adhesion and flexibility properties, made with an acrylic resin base. Due to its general similarities to silicone adhesives, it is widely used for sealing UPVC double-glazed doors and windows as well as aluminum windows. This sealant effectively prevents water, moisture, and dust penetration.

One of the key reasons for the popularity of siliconized sealants in door and window applications is their elasticity. How to Use

Before using Similar Silicone 888, make sure the surface is free of any contaminants, grease, and dust. For a clean and precise application, it is recommended to tape around the area where the adhesive will be applied to prevent spreading.

Place the silicone cartridge into the applicator gun, and depending on the required size and width, cut the nozzle to the appropriate position. Apply the silicone precisely to the desired area.

After applying the PROOFAB Siliconized Silicone Sealant 888, use a spatula to smooth the surface and then allow it to dry completely. The initial drying time for the silicone is usually at least 12 hours, but depending on environmental conditions and the thickness of the applied layer, this time can extend up to 48 hours. The drying time depends on the thickness of the layer, ambient temperature, and humidity levels.

Important note: After application, allow at least 5 to 6 days for the surface to fully dry before painting.
