Super Microsilica Gel-Retrader
Super Microsilica Gel-Retrader is a functional material composed of carboxylate-based plasticizers, silica fume, fillers, and retarding concrete additives. This additive is incorporated into concrete during production to enhance its rheological properties in the plastic state and improve the performance of the hardened concrete.
This retarding product, utilizing powerful plasticizers based on polycarboxylate ether, significantly reduces the water content required in the concrete mix, ultimately increasing its compressive strength. Moreover, the super gel compacts the concrete structure and fills voids between aggregates, thereby reducing the permeability of the hardened concrete.
The retarding agents in the formulation delay the setting time of the concrete and control the hydration reaction rate, resulting in improved concrete performance for specialized projects.

Method of Using Super microsilica gel-retrader
Super silica fume gel can be added to concrete in two ways:
- Combine the gel with part of the water or slurry of the concrete, then add it to the dry materials and mix thoroughly.
- Add the gel retarder to the concrete mix after all other components have been added.
Note: A minimum mixing time of 1 minute is required for every cubic meter of concrete.
Caution: Exceeding the recommended dosage of this silica fume additive can increase the setting time and disrupt the concrete’s curing process.
