- Maintaining adhesion against moisture
Description
Proofab Tile Adhesive
In today’s world, a wide range of products has been introduced in the construction industry, including various types of tile adhesives. Proofab powder tile adhesive is one of the top construction products, designed and manufactured by the Chemical Concrete Plast Company. This adhesive is formulated using cement, polymer resins, and mineral fillers, ensuring high quality and performance.
Proofab tile adhesive, strengthened with cement and optimized with polymers, offers excellent resistance to moisture. This product is specifically designed for installing tiles and ceramics on walls, floors, cement, and concrete surfaces, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
Using this adhesive for tile and ceramic installation significantly enhances resistance to moisture penetration. Additionally, Proofab powder tile adhesive, due to its superior adhesion compared to paste adhesives, is considered an ideal choice for tiling on vertical surfaces.

How to use
The surface where the adhesive will be applied must be completely clean and free of any contamination, grease, dust, and loose materials.
If the surface is contaminated, use methods like water jetting or sandblasting to clean it.
Note that at least 7 days should pass after cementing the surface before it is ready for application.
For each 20 kg bag of Proofab powder tile adhesive, 5 to 6 liters of water are required.
To mix the water and powder adhesive, use a mechanical mixer (drill with a paddle) and continue mixing until a smooth, homogeneous mixture is achieved.
Always add the powder to the water, as adding water to the powder will not result in the proper consistency.
Apply the prepared adhesive using a notched trowel to the surface. Then, place and secure the tiles or ceramics on the surface.
For enhanced adhesion, it is recommended to apply some adhesive to the back of the tiles as well.
Note that the mixed adhesive should be used within 40 minutes, and tiles should be installed on the surface within 20 minutes after application.
