Bentonite Waterstop
- The ability to fill concrete seams and holes
- Permanent and flawless performance
- High malleability and relatively free
Description
Bentonite waterstop
Bentonite waterstop is an effective and efficient product based on active sodium bentonite, integrated into a highly elastic butyl rubber matrix. This product is specifically designed to prevent water infiltration and leakage at construction joints and cold joints in concrete pours. When the bentonite waterstop comes into contact with water, it expands automatically, effectively blocking water from passing through concrete joints.
To use this waterstop, it is first attached to the desired surface using adhesive or nails, after which the next concrete pour is done. Other applications of this waterstop include construction joints and areas where PVC waterstop has not been installed. It is important to note that this product is only suitable for construction joints, and its use in expansion or contraction joints is not recommended.

Instructions for Using Bentonite waterstop
Before installing the Bentonite waterstop, the substrate surface must be thoroughly dry and clean, free of any dirt, dust, loose materials, grease, and other impurities. To attach the waterstop to the concrete, use a special adhesive designed for this purpose. In vertical or ceiling joints, it is permissible to use steel nails to ensure the strip does not detach from the concrete surface. Simply press the two edges of the strip together and secure them firmly, eliminating the need for overlapping.
